Question what do you consider a sleeper

i consider a sleeper a car with the only visuals an exhaust, rims, and tint that you can see...i'd have my interior done up but other than that....that's the only thing you'd see other than a repainting of my stock paint job....

opnions...

My car.. The only visual hints you get is that the car is low.
No tints, and the exhaust is made to look totally stock.. But with 2.5" piping.

IMO a sleeper is a little dirty, looks like a daily driven car...looks like someone is trying to fix it up...that way people mess with you and rev on you....then you smoke em when you have a way fast car....

I think the perfect sleeper would look COMPLETELY stock. Including wheels, ride height, tint, look kinda dirty (like a daily driver), and have nothing to give it away. I mean do NOTHING to the outside, so if it was parked then you couldn't tell that it wasn't stock.

Well I don't know about you guys but I'm more afraid of racing a stock looking car than one with a full body kit and wheels. Like the one that melt posted, I don't care what you guys say, but it looks fucking fast. I don't see very many people with kits that have a fast car, so stockish looking cars scare me. Completely stock looking cars don't bother me, cause usually they are stock or just have an intake. But when it's lowered, has an exhaust, rolling on steelies, no body kit, no stickers, and sometimes has tint, I'm straight skurred.

im with kicker. I see cars like the one melt posted, and I want to know what is under the hood, because I know there is some beast under there, or more than likely there is, but cars with body kits and all the show stuff, im not that scared of. I know of one that is really really nice on the outside, got a bodykit, nice paintjob, some graphics, sort of looked like it came from F&F, but didn't look like shit, back to the point, the car had nothing done to the motor, it was still stock. And completely stock looking cars don't bother me either, because they are usually stock around here, but lowered and steelies scare me.

I love sleepers. Im working on getting one myself. Its all rusty and on steelies and its eventually going to have a turbo ZC. Its also gonna be lowered but I dont know if im gonna get rims. If I do their going to be gunmetal. Theres a real good deal on ebay right now for some 16' gunmetal MR7's so I wanna get them. But other than that, my car is ugly and its gonna scream.
