engine block suggestions for 66 Riviera

Since im building this car based on a rendering from a custom rodder magazine rendering, im trying to think of it as a custom rod. In this train of thought, I've considered painting the engine block body color due to its custom rod nature.

Should I paint it factory buick color?
Should I paint it body color (pearl purple)?
Should I paint it gloss Black?

I would have made this a poll but I also have a similar question about the frame. I thought about gloss blask on the frame because that would be typical of a custom rodder, but Im open for other suggestions maybe possibly a lil contrast against the body color.

GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHT............

Please dont tell me to build it how I like it, Im trying to build it style correct (custom rodder) and your input is highly appreciated.

With the custom rodder idea i would use a paint that is part of the whole cars color scheme. but also think that alot of rodders paint whatever coler they like best, there is really no "rule" to it.

I'd go for the same colour as the body to give it a nice fresh look

I'd paint the engine the body colour and for the frame i'd paint it body colour aswell. Only, do the undercarriage flat black. If you don't kknow what I mean I can understand, I don't know the right words for what to call it on a model.
