Question Gear selection lights

The light display on my gear selector seems to have burned out on my 99 Chevy Prizm. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks
Danielle

Remove the screws from the console.
Remove the center console.
Remove the rear console.
Remove the screws and the selector lever knob from the selector lever.
Remove the screws and the manual selector cover from the selector lever.
Unsnap the shifter plate, while moving up towards the selector knob, disconnect the indicator light.
