How easy a descision is this?

Hey guys. Haven't been around for a while cause I've been quite busy. I've taken a break off the mach one due to some frusteration around the chrome trim.

Anyway, my girlfriend bought this model and asked me to build it for her. I want to slam it on 20s and she wants it built box stock. Now tell me what looks better to you!?

Stock rims/height

slammed on hoppin hydros

Damn women!
BTW, its a fujimi audi 90

On an unrelated note, my friend got me this for my birthday, I'm quite excited to build this but it'll be a while before I can get around to it.

I think both choices are quite extreme.. 20":s look too big and standard wheels look small and boring. But personally I think if she wants to have her model with standard wheels, so let her have it like that.

girls don't link big rims and lowered suspension. They will say it looks ugly and how it can be driven at that low.

I would say gogogo 20" rims and add a chin for the front spolier and a wing......just a thought

Hi,

Lower it a bit , just to have the tire close to the wheel arch, not too deep.
And put some Porsche 911 rims, I know that it suits this car very well.

Not the 20s! They're far too bling-bling for an Audi 90. You want something a bit more understated in an 18".

lowered looks much better.
I built this kit once, w/ stock wheels, years ago. It looks so boring and ugly. And I got this kit again recently. Painted it in TAMIYA's yellow (suggested for PORSCHE GT3). Now pending 'coz don't know what rims look good on it.
But definitely slam down is cool

I think it would look good with something in between those 2.

Also do you have pictures of the box? Or any pics of a final product.

I say keep the original wheels... cuz... it'll be even more heart-shattering when u present her the modded and then she gets pissed off cuz u "didn't listen to her" and she throws it away or drops it.....

Keep the original wheels, for safety sake

LOL, so much controversy!

Well I'm definitly not building it stock, IMO, it just looks like pure shit with the stock rims/hieght. I do agree the 20s are too bling bling though, I was gonna save em for another truck or for an impala ss or something. I'll see if I have another set of 5 spokes laying around or something, otherwise I'll leave it lowered with stock rims till I can get an order in for some nice scale 18s

And this is all part of the plan to desensitize her to lowered vehicles. Eventually, like all of us, she will learn that low is the way to go and let me drop her 1:1 car
