Hartge BMW H6-24 w/19" rims progress

I am redoing this BMW M5 which I built 10 years ago with very bad red paint and other problem.

It took 1 week to get the paints off using DOT3 fluid and sanded a lot. Interior is also rebuilt.

Modification:
- Lowered 2-3mm for the front and rear
- Add front lip for the bumper

Comments welcome......

By the way, should I add the wing?

Sweet !! Nice look you got there with the lowering, good luck, and I think you should add the wing, but that's just me !

I love those M5's. THe ride height is great! I'd go wingless with this Bimmer. Or maybe a small lip on the trunk.

Hey! It's been a long time since we've seen a thread from you. Perfect rim choice on that thing, and it sits just right. Any thoughts on how you're going to paint it? VIP neutral colors or something flashier? And since it's an M, I'd go with the spoiler.... just adds a little more to the sports look.

Cool... I think the wing is a bit off. Since the car look very VIP, so maybe it will have VIP kind of low-downforce wing.

Very nice to see a M5. IMO the wing would go with it because of it being an M.

The wing is okay, but it doesn't really add anything to the rest of the car-it looks just as good without it. My preference would be a small lip spoiler like BMW has on the new M3's and M5's. The wing you show dates the car, while your lowering and new rims make it look more modern.

Re: Hartge BMW M5 w/19" rims progress

definetely no wing, the rest of the styling - lowering and big rims does not fit with it.

as everyone says a small lip spoiler, as in the new m5, would be best...if possible.

That will look great when done...nice pick for the wheels.
Go wingless to keep it smooth looking

Wingless. The wing takes the classiness out of it.

Looks great so far, and don't take the wing imo.
