just playing

triying to make a good CF tutorial this look good enough or is there something i should work on

Yeah, whenever i try making cf hood, the CF is always too big. The little rectangles are too big. An tips?

you can make a CF pattern and it will make your life a lot easier

Very good but keep in mind most carbon fiber panelling (hood etc) gets clearcoated in real life before applied (except in the case of ricers )

The luminescence in the front looks kinda flat just IMO

ok heres an updated CF patern

lets not worrie about reflection just yet its the pattern and look of the CF im dealing with ATM is this one better

i really like the way that cf looks in the second one...

still looks a little big, but good...

from this distance, you wouldn't see much of the pattern...

and... ricers don't have non gloss'd cf hoods...

hks does... (track attack altezza)

shaved the clear to cut weight...

crazy.

yes my sentiment ecxactly ive told many ppl doing CF is just black it out ad a slight bronze tinge and leave it at that

but many ppl want to make a CF hood mirror what knot

so im trying to work out the a way that has some realism too it

plus like ive said b4 if i did each panel seperate i could tweak it more
