Seriously

Im a bit perturbed at the moment. No matter what I do, how mature I act, or however an intelligent conversation I carry on, I always get dubbed the "joker". Everyone sees me and automatically, Im the clown thats always going to be making jokes, and laughing, and goofing off. I hate it, people NEVER try to understand what Im like. Sure, I am from time to time a guy who likes to joke around, but that's not me. Tonight at church, after I, and my friends Stacey, and Sarah had done the ritual of the puppet show that we do every Wednesday night, I stayed in the room and just sat there behind the little puppet stage. They turned the lights off, which didn't really bother me, but I just sat there thinking about stuff, just thinkin. About 15 Minutes later they sneak in and think im sleeping so they throw water on me and run away real quick, like im supposed to chase them, I instead move and wait until church is over to leave. As Im standing there putting my coat on someone said to me "were you hiding?" to which I replied "no, I was just thinking" and Sarah looked at me and said "yeah right, you were sleeping." I wanted to tell her that she shouldnt just assume I was sleeping because that insults my intelligence, but I simply gave her a blank stare and left. Why do these people not understand. Ive tried to help them with it, yet they never can grasp the fact of me being a serious person. It's really starting to piss me off.

I can actually relate to that; now I'm the polar opposite most of the time! I get silly evry once in a while though! Don't let it get to you because their perceptions of you will change with time.:grey:

yea same here man, in your case it sounds like a girl so lets both just blame it on them, some girls think that i can never be serious but there are girls that know i can be. i seriously do try to be the "joker" but only because i like making my friends laugh it makes me happy sometimes to see them laugh.
