Ive been wanting to say this and its about the whole chrysler and mitsubishi thing I would never buy one of there cars again unless it is a vr4 or evo and that still has my doubts do to the fact Mitsubishi cant stand behind there product becuase it sucks but i bare with it everytime I get in my 97 3000gt base. If I had it all to do over again I would have staid away or got a vr4 but I was given the car it was owned by my mother she knew nothing about the car or any cars she just though it looked nice. I was given the car about a year ago and didnt know what i was getting myself into and should have told my mom to sell it . 61k miles transmission goes out and starter right out of the 60k warranty ,Does mitsubishi want to warrany it no or the starter when I have reciepts regaurding starting problems and transmission problems still dont want to help. Now I am working on a letter to send the manufacture and go from there . I have gotten all of the problems fixed , but even in the past there were numerous problems that repeatedly happended mostly when the car was brand (new) cheapo car and to think all check ups were done too and still problems problems .
I also find it sad that my motor is found in a chrysler lebarion a damn old lady car a car that my grandmother drives . Mitsubishi went backwards when they started putting the sohc in the 3000gt then when they discontinued them and then came with the new eclipse backwards I say downhill they go, the evo should help there sells if thats not a piece of crap too .. But hey this is just my opinion so dont knock me to bad.
