Unhappy Exhaust trouble - PLZ advise

My car produces A LOT of exhaust... is this normal?

The exhaust doesn't smell, there's no indications of coolant trouble or burning oil, fuel economy is not compromised, and the car easily passes all provinical e-testing requirements. I just don't know why the car produces so much exhaust?

I know the car has two catalytic convertors, but there are two other 735's in my neighbourhood of the same year that do not suffer from this problem.

PS: Haven't had a smoke since new years... going crazy...

If what you mean is that there is a lot of white smoke until the car warms up then that is not unusual .

No

No,

When the car is cold and warming up the exhaust is negligible, when the car is warmed up there is a lot of exhaust.

The exhaust doesn't smell, and it isn't discoloured.

???

The smoke is not blue or black but white and increases when the motor gets hot. Hmmmm

If the engine in running ok and the water level is ok I would probably leave it till the weather warms up and see if it improves. The engine just may not be getting hot enough.

When did you last change the oil?

If you have a look inside the oil filler cap and the cam cover (through the filler hole) is there any white emulsion showing?

It could just be that the engine needs a good work out.
