Parents And Technology Dont Mix
i just bought a brand new freakin cell phone..
my mom goes and takes it to get activated and on the way in the house she DROPS THE SOB and breaks the anntenae so therefore MY NEW 200 DOLLAR CELL PHONE IS SHIT ! parents and technology are not and will never be meant to be

yeag sometimes, my mom cant seem to surf he web without askin for help. but really its not that hard they just havent adapted yet

my parents arent that bad. My mom and do what she needs with the internet. my dad on the other is one of the biggest technology geeks I know.

Im lucky, my dad worked on the first computers back when they filled entire rooms. We had a PC when most people didnt even know what they where. Thats what led me to what I do today.
But believe me, I KNOW what your talkin about. I work tech support for an ISP and the worst calls I get are where the kids give there parents or worse yet...grandparents...thier old PCs "so they can email!" Its sad when your talking to an adult trying to fix thier PC, these people manage and run buissness and so on, and they get so totally lost they go "Im going to put my 8 yr old on, I cant do this". And where talking about giving them basic step by step instructions that you only need to be literate and speak English to follow. Then the 8 yr old has no problem at all working with me.
