T series turbo's are just one of the turbo familys. check out this site http://64.225.76.178/catalog/t-series.html

to find the turbo that you want, you can use this formula.
Horsepower = (Airflow X 60)/(Air/Fuel Ratio X BSFC)

so in your case, you say you want 300-350 so I'll pick 325, right in the middle. Airflow is the amount of air that the turbo flows at the desired boost. in this case, airflow is going to be the variable that your looking for. Air/Fuel ratio is pretty much a constant unless if you have actually done testing with a wideband o2 sensor on a dyno and you know the actual air/fuel ratio. You can just use 11:1 as the air/fuel ratio for now. For BSFC, just use .5
sooo....

325 = (airflow X 60)/(11 X .5)
....
....
airflow ends up coming out to be 31.14583 lb/min. That number is what you want your turbo to flow and it will put you at your HP goal. The KA will flow 31.5 lb/min at 5200 RPM at 18 psi of boost. The pressure ratio will be 2.224. So if you plot the pressure ratio and the airflow on one of these compressor maps then that should give you a good idea of which turbo you will want to use.
Sorry I cant just tell you which turbo to use

yeah your going to need a number of things if you are going for a custom turbo kit. here are some of the main things you'll need in addition to the turbo:

turbo manifold
Intercooler
custom i/c piping
wastegate
bov (optional, but recommended)
custom downpipe
hoses/fittings for oil lines
higher flowing fuel pump

If your serious about building a custom turbo kit, or using any turbo kit, I would recommend going to Barnes and Nobles, Book-a-million, or whatever book store you have out there and buy the book called "Maximum Boost" by corky bell. It's a very good book and has a lot of useful information in it

I need to go pick that on up myself. Also check out this months issue of turbo mag it has a section on compressor maps. intercoolers, boost controllers almost anything turbo related. Not extremly in depth but still very good reading.
