Sub Info?

I got this box from my local Wal-mart. The magnet has Roadmaster on the bottom of it. The box holds 2x6.5" subs and 2 tweeters. I can remember something about 300 watts but dont know if its the combined total or if its per sub. Any info would help alot. Thanks in advance.

Roadmaster is one of those "flea market" brands you see at walmart and the like. I am sure a box with 2 6.5" subs would probably run good off of a 50-75 watt/ch amp.

ok they arn't THAT bad. Considering I paid $12 a box for mine. And they sound pretty decent as mid/highs as long as you arn't trying to get bass out of them, they DO get loud for the price. I put 110rms into each side and burnt out the tweeters. But hooking them up to just a 45watt head unit they sound great in the back of a camaro.

Hmmm ... that sounds like an interesting experiment. I have a large bass amp, maybe I should see what a pr of cheap speakers can REALLY take.

Oh its fun

Latest experiment was a set of 6.5" rockfords in a prefab box. It was given to my friend for free so after bout 500RMS went through it for a very short time my friend took a blowtorch to the insides.

Needless to say it went up in flames pretty fast. I was suprised :badass:
