Why the hang up with a R34 V-spec engine? All the engines are the same in the GTR, basically.

Right. There is no such thing as a V-spec engine. Within the generations, all the 26DETTs are the same, except the N1 engine. That one has ceramic turbs.

ANd I'd expect to pay about 7k for it, perhaps 6.

Actually all the Skylines came with ceramic turbos EXCEPT the Nismo N1, and Nur. They used factory steel shafted and wheeled T28's instead of the smaller T25's with ceramic exahust wheel and shaft unit.

Hahahaha

In 1989 the first 50 GTR's were produced by Nismo. They had T28's same as the pulsar GTiR's.

Any proof that the first 50 GT-R's were produced by Nismo and had T28's .

I have a lot of GT-R information. I have translated a lot of information - and I have not seen that anywhere.

Anything is possible - but I file it in the B.S. file until I see proof.

There were 560 Nismo version R32's . There were 228 N1 R32's .

Two stock standard and I mean bone stock 89 R32's with the factory airbox and exhaust systems have come in a few years ago. The cars as best we can tell were never fitted with any type of aftermarket bits either. There are no marks at all anywhere in the dash (top or bottom) or pillar cover where gauges, boost controller, or other gear would have nested. None of the factory gear seems to have been removed or replaced. The milage on the speedo's would match the condition of the cars.

As the cars were modified by their new owners they further found that none of the looms were ever spliced into either. Both the cars had a slightly smaller version of the T28 turbo on them. Both were very low serial numbered, below 100 .

Every person including the ones at our local NISSAN dealers agree that the cars were never modified before. There was just too much compelling evidence of that. Now not withstanding the fact that there very well could have been two different cars with different owners who spent a large sum of money in Japan to put the cars back to bone stock for sale as anything is possible.

Like I said - anything is possible . I have seen weirder - undocumented things from the factory.

I have never seen it mentioned anywhere on the GT-R information but that does not mean it does not exist.

Body colors is one thing.... they only have a few colors listed- and they have the Early/Late stuff.... but I have seen cars - like a Vspec 93 R32 that was an "early" R32 color and I had a closeup of the dataplate to verify it.

One of the black 98 R33's here in the US is actually R34 black. Same color code. No where in any documentation does it mention that.

i've been noticing a trend of senseless threads from this person... why not just ask what the motor would cost...

and not say that you intend to import one... we know it's a lie...

i love anomalies in cars... the weird stuff that gets by and what not...

Yeah...

I can hook you up with those engines...
The RB26 will be $10000USD
RB26DETT will be the price of RB26 plus $20000 more cause it has DETT in it
The Skyline R34 V-Spec engine will be the price of the RB26DETT plus $100000 more because i need to buy an R34 and take out the engine for you(which takes much labour I'm not asking you to pay).

Send Cheques payable to me if u're interested. Any more questions, call me at 1-800-ima-bser.

Not sure of the reputation of this company, but look at www.flashoption.com. They advertise the entire front half of an r32 gt-r for for $4500.
