Unhappy oh crap....clutch doesnt work... HELP ME BEFORE I KILL the CAR!

ok, heres the storie, i went this morning to ship a package, and on the way back from the post office my clutch seemed hard to press, and then it quit working altogether, my dad said to check the "clutch fluid" but we have cable tranny's so there isnt any "clutch fluid" what do you guys think?? i need help FAST im already late for work and i told them i was going to try to fix it and be in asap..... if it is the clutch cable....will the cable from a si work on the std? i sure hope so....HELP im going crazy!!!!

Yeh i'm thinkin its the clutch cable! Yeh the si should work. First check your cable to see if its fine before anything.

fixed it.....i just adjusted the cable.....i dont know how the hell it came unadjusted, but it was so looses i could move the cable up and down, its working fine now.....but any ideas on why it would do what it did?

dude, replace it if it's the orignal... mine was like that in the EX only it was stretched so far they used a lug nut to fix it (no joke) they are only like $37 from AutoZone. when I convert the CRX from automatic to 5-speed I'm just going to buy a new one.
