Funny thing, I just ordered a 03 IS300 SportDesign to use as my daily driver..I'm lucky, I get to keep both..I love my Lightning, don't ask me to choose between them..
 The front grills look alike...

who says who can post where? i'm not an is300 guy, but i can post here, no? i really dig the lightning, so it's sad to see that go, but i would rather have the is300 myself... nice car... turbo is the way to go on that... i think peter farrell supercars has one for it...

Curious, but how do you know he doesn't own a car, let alone a Porsche?
Now normally I would agree with the who can post here issue, but his post doesn't mention what he hates about car. That's why I agreed with DLL. I hate the IS300 too, but I hate it because the engine available in the US sucks. I love the IS200 and what the EUro-TRD doing with the IS430. I though the SVT Lightning was just an optional model sold by Ford, like the Harley Davidson Truck sold on the Lincoln Brand? John Collette's SVT division was going to continue making Lightning- F series trucks. I haven't heard anything different about that, have you?

the post in question was made by a post whore who isn't old enough to drive that frequents the vw forum. i know who he is.
the lightning is a model made by ford, that's modified by svt, but it's a production model and is still available. the us version of the motor in the is300 isn't that bad, and lends itself nicely for a supra 6 spd swap or a full supra motor swap. not too shabby. i'd rather have the 3sgte, but hey... us customers don't understand high tech turbo 4 cyls...

OK, I was just bashing him posting what he did on a IS300 thread. OK so we know who he is, still he needs to post that negative sh!t on another forum. Easy its just a forum board...
An 04 Lightning will probably not be made, but the 05 Lightning will come from the factory with 500 hp and 500 ft lbs torque.

he's been banned... but he's hopped back on under genesis3.
the 05 concept is only a concept right now... but it's feasible... they need to fight the dodge ram sr/t with the viper motor... but this is an is300 forum, not a lightning forum....
