All "purple" cleaners equal to Castrol Super Clean

I was wondering if any of you tried the other "purple" cleaners (ex. "purple power") on the market for stripping paint. They all seem to be similar. Anyone with any experience?

As long as it contains sodium hydroxide, or something similar (i.e. any strong base) then it should work.
