Will Castrol Super Clean...
remove chrome from chrome plated pieces? On my Impala that I am "STILL" working on the rear bumper looks like shit. The chrome is discolored and not smooth. Will CSC fix my problem. What steps do I need to follow to remove it?

I'm not sure it will work as i have never used the stuff before.
The Chevelle i done i used a modelling knife to scrape the chrome off as it just flakes off so easy. Then sandpaper with 600 then 1200 grit. Then if you can get some BMF......re-do the bumpers and then polish them up to get a good shine again. This is what they should end up looking like....

a soak in chlorine laundry bleach will remove chrome but the clear lacquer base coat under the chrome needs to be removed with a paint remover
Mike PS:always wear rubber gloves and eye protection when working with chemicals

It will remove the chrome but the undercoat will still be there. I've heard the best is nail polish remover. Raid your girlfriends/wifes/whatever supply.
