2 alpine type r's or idmax/brahma

my current setup right now is 2 alpine type r's dvc 4ohm version wired in paralell to 2ohms hooked up to a jbl 600.1. each sub is getting 300 watts a piece. the h/u is a jvc kdlh1000. i was planning on selling this system for $800 and get one idmax or brahma hooked up to a jbl 1200.1 and an alpine cda-7893. what do you think will pump out more spl and better sq. i think that 2 type r's will have more cone area, but then the idmax or brahma will get twice the power of the type r's and have a lot more linear travel.

SQ and subs is a misnomer. I would think the brahma in the right box would put out more, but it's hard to tell
