RE Amemiya FD3S RX7 (lotsa pics)
Hi all. My 4th build. It's not that perfect. Alot of things went wrong, paint, parts broke etc... anyway i did my best and finish it up.
![]() ![]() i find that this RX7 looks weird, sits too high and i don't like the side mirrors. so i add a lower lip on the front bumper and change the side mirrors. this is also the 1st time i'm trying with clear and panel lines. ![]() now with the complete pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Critics and comments are welcome~ =) |

Re: RE Amemiya FD3S RX7 (lotsa pics)
Thanks for the comments.
speedphreak, stryfe101: I used tamiya TS-18 metallic red for the body. turbo_b00st: except for the joining of the exhaust pipe to the engine manifold (see pic below) and the lack of mounting holes for the wing stand and side mirrors, the fitment is quite good. My bumper seems abit loose because i nvr glue it to the body. coz i find it easier to detach the chassis from the body by removing the front bumper first. One big error is that while gluing the side mirrors, i find that white glue dries too slow. i got impatient and used cement instead. But i put too much and the cement flow down to the door area! even though i managed to remove the paint and glue, it created a hole on the body paint. luckily the hole is right below the mirror so its hard to spot it. Also i broke one of the wipers while removing it from the tree.![]() I will take some daylight photos tomorrow if i have the time. |
