Aoshima 1/24 RX-7 FC3S (56K murder!)

Hey everyone. I've been surfing this forum for a few years now, and I'm amazed by the quality (and quantity) of all of the miniatures here, so here's my addition to the hobby. This is my first "real" model...Aoshima 1/24 Team Samurai Project FC3S. I didn't want to build it in all of its D1 livery, so I just kept it semi-street/race (sorta inspired by Andy Jone's version of this same car...props to him!). Rims are Aoshima TE-37s, exhaust is Fujimi N1, color is TS-42 light gunmetal. Tell me what you think and some c&c would be awesome!

Looks very well done. I love all RX's, but the 2nd gen (hope that is right, lol) is my favorite of all. You have done this one justice and the te-37's are the altime best fitting wheel for this generation (in my opinion). Nice job!

Very nice build! The rims are perfect with that body color! And a little advice, if You don't mind: I noticed a bit of foggin in the rearwindows wiper attachment point. You should use clearcoat as glue for the wipers so the window parts won't fog (I had that same problem on a few accasions with fluid glue).

Whoa! I didn't know you could use clearcoat as glue...so you just dab a little clearcoat on there and stick the part on?

I have for some reason always liked the FC's more then the FD's. This is a prime example of why.

One of the nicest FC's I've seen whether in real life or in scale. Great work. Another nod at those side mounts here too.
