How much time?

Hi to you all. After reading this forum for a while I decided to join. This will be my very first post. I would like to know, on average, how many hours per week each one of you puts into this hobby? I myself only get about seven hours per week, ten hours and I'm in heaven. I know it's not much but with a job and family that's about all I can get. I hope I hear from you all.

Pretty much the same as you, for both time and situation.

Now and again I can spend a little longer if the missus is on nights and sometimes I do some small jobs, like interior etc when I am on night or weekend shifts.

About the same here... Lucky to get 1-2 hours/day @ 5 days a week on avg. It's my "Alone time" (Work + Live-in Girlfriend + Real cars with constant mechanical issues = no time for Mikey)

At least model cars don't break like my 1:1 cars :~(

Well over the past few months I have done 0 hours of work on any models I have. I will pick them up again during my Christmas break. Right now I am busy with school and work.

I get about 30 hours each second week. Sometimes me and my friend sit down on the weekends after getting new models and we are well into it until 3AM! The only things I have to fit in with models are...Girl, sleep, caffiene, tearing apart old cars. Not much happening in my life, I rarely put any of my spare time in for schoolwork. Oh yeah, and a new priority over models is saving up for my first car, a Cadillac..

when I have model to do (hehe) It goes about 3 hours by day...

like today I received my Supra, and since 12:00h i'm working on it (bit over 3 hours)

so 12-20hours by week

If all my other work is done i'd like to spend up to 10-12 hours in one day instead of over severial days. Just makes it easier to have one big session then having to get everything out each time.
In a week i'd spend on a average around 20-25 hours.

Yes, but you also have a bunch of R2 D2 Model Builder 2000 robots working for you!!! LOL

I try to get as much time as I can, some weeks I may be able to work on my models for complete 2-3 days, other i am lucky if I get to stand in front of my display case and appreciate them.....

WOW!!!, do you paint all of the parts, then put them together, i can usually only work for a 30 mins, then i have to spray paint something!!! HOW DO U DO IT P'man?

I'm only thirteen years old. I have a lot of time on my hands. I do my homework real quick and go strait to modeling. If I'm not modeling I'm probably playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City, or on the internet looking at car model related stuff, or eating, or sleeping.
