How much time to wait BEFORE clear coat is applied?

So is this 15 minutes or a day? How can i get the best results?

when i do use clear i always wait a week before touching it, but thats cuz i use testors and it takes forever to dry. if your using tamiya clear then i whould say 3 days max. if you want more ansewers then you should atleast tell use what kind of clear your useing.

Oh, shit i asked the wrong question I meant how much time to wait BEFORE the clearcoat is applied..

what kind of paint are you using? if it is testors then atleat a week if its tamiya then 24hrs if it is plasti-kote then about 24hrs and the same for duplicolor auto paint.

I guess he's using automotive acryls.

Previous coat of paint must be dry. So you'll have to wait for about 15-20 minutes.

I think its Duplicolor or Autocolor. So 24hrs?

I always wait at least 5 days after the final coat.

this is Why I always start with the body work.. While it dry, I work with the rest of the kit
