7m-gte in 1987 supra?
hey peeps,
jus wondering my boy jus bought a 1987 supra and it came a 7m gte motor had a fe w questions about it 1-wat car dose da 7m-gte come in 2-is it a good motor 3-how does it compare 2 the almighty 2jz-gte 4-how much boost can the 7m-gte take? 5-it the 7m-gte a good motor 2 work? u help is appreciated tanks

the 7mgte only came in the 87-92 supras
it is a great motor but has problems with head gaskets. so a MHG is a must if you plan on modding it can reach 700hp safely but then its head restricts flow and cant get much more. sorry noe 4 digit HP #'s ive heard of upwards of 24lbs but not for long. yes its a very good motor. 500-600rwhp is considered a daily driver.lol its a mid to low 15 second car stock and 11's arent unheard of 10's are rarer but there.:frog:

Tanks i hope that we'll do 11s but i'll tyr 2 definatly do 12s!
fist mods is gona be a new head gasket cause its gone! then coms the bolt-ons intake exaust 3"downpipe intercooler bov boost controller and a better fuel pump!
