5M Tranny on a 7M GTE
Can the 5M-GE transmission fit on my 1990 7M-GTE? I was under the impression from a couple of people that they can be easily swaped.

Auto -> Manual
Well.. I have a 5M tranny lying here and I want to change from AUTO to MANUAL. Since I have the resources. I was wondering if it is possible and easy. I will rebuild a nice 7M-GE tranny and get a racing clutch when I start upgrading the car. As for now, I think it would be alright. Give me some more input to think about. Thanks for your response!
