Well, I been watching Ken build models for a while, and finally got another one of my own built. Some of you may have seen me trying to finish it at the MCMA Showdown '07. Well, it's done...finally!

Looks good, especially considering it's your second model! You said CC is welcome, so here you go:

-A wash in the engine bay and other choice areas will help bring out detail.
-BMF looks a little rough, but if you're doing this well on your second model I don't think you'll have a problem working it out next time.

That's all I really see, you've done really well with this one!

CC: Your interior pictures are really blurry. Also, what's up with the passenger seat belt? The spark plug wires are a tad oversized.

Paint, stance, and overall finish look good.

Damn good for such an early effort. I'd suggest maybe a mild black-wash on the hubs of those wheels, to bring out the lug nuts. Otherwise, great pro-touring build!

First off i would like to thank everybody for the props... 2nd, id like to thank Ken (rsxse240) for all the advice and questions he answered as i was doing this build... also got to thank him for the essental parts and scraps that i used of his to make my almin drive shaft, the wire for the plug wires the scraps of cloth for the seat belts etc. This project would never had turned out like it did if he didn't let me "raid" his spare stuffs.

I got to give props where props are due, Ken let me have some of his resin cast racing seats along with some resin cast big brakes and im honored to be the first to use his custom cast wheels... so if ya like em get with Ken (rsxse240) and im sure he'd cast you a set... for a fee of course!!!

To answer a few questions:
The passenger seat belt wasn't finished when the pic of the interior was shot. I added a buckled harness for the pass side, as you can see i had the lap belt down...
I blame Ken (rsxse240) for the blurry pics, it was hit camera!
As for the plug wires, they look A LOT smaller in the car, i really think it was lighting and the angle it was taken...

Yeah im kinda un happy with the bmf, it was older bmf and i handled the car a lot as i was putting the chassis and windows and stuff in, kinda did a number to the bmf, sooner or later im gonna fix the troubled spots and resmooth it out in places... Yeah i totally agree with washing the engine bay, but im was too scared too honestly, im still getting my technique down for that...

I used to build models, mostly fighter plans from the age of 8 to 15 or so... i kinda got out of the hobby till i met ken, looked at his work... he got me back into it. I build a Fujimi Nissan Silvia S14, that turned out "ok" its not a great kit really (but its the car i own) so i built it as my first... I have always wanted a Camaro, picked this Yenko kit up at wally-world for like 10 bucks a while back, decided to build it... well one thing led to another and id show Ken my progress and he'd go "well mabeye you should do this" so id go back home and do it... (yeah thanks ken for the 3 hours i spent opening up the grill on this car, but im sure glad i did it!)

Sorry for the long post guys, ill have some more work to come soon, im gonna take a small break (life is busy right now) but ill have something to do, im thinking a Tamiya Ferrari 360 Modena i might do next...

I have to say, those pics look like poo, and HUGE!! OMG (orange mango grenedine?) !!! haha They really do no justice to the car as a whole. I can't tell you enough how well this car turned out, and NO I'm not being "nice" to make you feel better.... You know I don't car how you feel. haha j/k.
