Finally finished, The 1950 Ford F1, dial-up beware picture intense

Some small adjustments to make such as cleaning off some paint from the velocitystacks and exhaustpipes, make valve steems and clean off the last fingerprints.
Going to Västerås and Mini-Meet on saturday for it's first show.

Has to mount it to a plate as it got a bit crippled and wont stand on it's four wheels properly.

On to the pictures.....

Paintjob looks flawless. Loving all the chrome and the whole look of this car....looks cute to me, like something from Pixar's "Cars"

Re: Finally finished, The 1950 Ford F1, dial-up beware picture intense

So this past weekend it saw battle for the first time and I'm very pleased with the outcome of it.

A first place in the Van/Pick-up category.

More pictures here, not the very best as I don't have a tripod. At least not a big one that I could have used there. Well, at least it's better then no pics at all!

Some reason these old trucks like to take first place. they are un-assuming stunners. First place is a well deserved trophy. Fine job on this one. I can't wait to see what you do next.

Re: Finally finished, The 1950 Ford F1, dial-up beware picture intense

Thank you guys!

I just realized that something's missing under the hood. There's no retaining spring for the throttle cable, should be pretty exciting to floor the pedal and get the valves stuck wide open for good.

Can you please stop now and let me out of here

Well nothing that can't be fixed afterwards, for now it's going on display at the local paint/hobby store for a while.
