Question about Ecu Chips

Does anyone have a chip. And do they help at all?

Yeah i got one, it lowers vtec cross over, raises the rev limit, changes ignition timing and map sensors values. Thats the technical stuff, i could feel the difference when i drove it before and after. Thier cheap enough on ebay i thought what the hell...
