Question question about a chip

i was wondering if there is any possible way for the VIS to kick in sooner. is there any kind of chip i can get from the dealer or something to make the variable intake system hit like at 3 or 3 1/2k rpm?

Re: question about a chip

no there is no chip or reprogram you can do to get this, and even if you could get the 2nd intake runner to open sooner you wouldn't see any gains. Some people have zip-tied it open all the time and done back to back dyno runs with it running normally and with it open all the time and there was no difference.
