Question regarding ecu chip

Hello to all.

I have a customer that is trying to swap ecu chips. He has given me the following number: JT8GT6TLF1ZX536AB32. He wants to know what application did this chip come from.
Does anyone out there know of a site that I can cross reference or if any of you know off hand?

Thank you in advance
Chuck aka ulrmemeber

Re: Question regarding ecu chip

If this is for a GM OBD 1 vehicle, that number means nothing. What you are looking for is the silver sticker on the actual PROM chip. It should have 4 numbers followed by either 3 or 4 letters, that will be the BCC code.
