Civic Projector question (attn ci5ic)

Just got the same projector headlights as you except for the chrome style ones. I noticed they have a headlight guard on the inside to prevent any light from annoying any other drivers. Has anyone removed the guard? I had Piaa 959 projectors and removed the guard. It made the lights way brighter!! Anyways just wanted to see b4 I put them in. Also any leakage problems. Should I run a bead of sealant around then lenses to ensure no leakage?? Please help...

Hey Johnny...

I haven't had any leakage problems whatsoever, but if you do decide to open them up to remove the guard, I would recommend sealing them with something good. As far as the guard goes, I really don't know what you are referring to, so I can't be any help in that department. But as far as I am concerned, they are plenty bright without any modification.

Hope that helps.
