lazy question
guys,
if a part, say like a seat or a dashboard or something, was already black on the sprue, and you were supposed to paint that part black also, do you still paint it? or do you leave it as is? or do you use spray a clear coat over it? i usually paint everything but was just wondering what you guys do? Re: lazy question
I have been guilty of using the plastic color as a cheap, and easy way out of doing extra work. but if the texture isn't just right, or the plastic is just the slightest bit translucent, I paint it. I do use a lot of bare plastic when a bare plastic part is on the real car. such as fan shrouds, or intake pipes. there really is no substitute for the real deal, but it really sounds to me like a personal judgment call on your part.
good luck
