the teg ecu will work as long as its an automatic...if yours is...you know manual to manual blah blah...anyway the teg ecu has a better fuel curve so your car will run a lil richer which is good if you're gonna run juice...I did a mpfi swap on my dx and I went with the si ecu just cuz it fit in my ecu mounting place the teg ecu is weirdshaped ...probably cuz its mounted under the seat on the teg...good luck finding a si automatic ecu...don't think they make one...so you can also use 88-91 ex automatic ecu cuz they are mpfi....

My dx has never lost to a si:finger:

correct me if im wrong, but i dont think a MPFI ecu will work with a DX Dual Point system. I know for a fact that a DX ECU wont work with an MPFI equipped engine. So, unless you have an MPFI swap, i think you're out of luck.

no you're right a mpfi ecu iem6 won't work with a dpfi...dpfi ecu like a dx ecu iem5 only has 2 injectors and it doesn't have the crank angle sensor or the cylinder positioning sensor unit inside of it....I was assuming he was doing a mpfi swap if so you need

si ecu
si distributor
si resistor box
si intake manifold and you need to reverse two wires on the tps cuz the dx is completely opposite of the si...
the reason you need the disributor is cuz the crank angle sensor and cylinder position sensor are in it....

sorry if I sounded dumb...I had a pg7 (89 ls teg) ecu but sold it for 15 bux....I love my local junkyard...
