Unhappy 2002 Tahoe Suspension

I am not happy with the spongy suspension on my 2002 Tahoe 2WD. When I brake the front end goes down drastically. I have asked the dealer about it but he just says that is the way it is! Does anyone else out there think the same way I do, and do you know what can be done to the suspension to correct this?

Thanks in advance

I had that problem on my '96 Sub... Felt like I was on a bouncy kids ride @ K-mart Try a set of Rancho 9000's Should frim things up and you can adjust ride.

I second that notion. I put rs 9000's on my 99 tahoe and it is wonderful. Before it rode like a bathtub full of water. It actually felt dangerous around turns, not now though.
