My 1997 Geo Metro LSI four-cylinder has started to make a ticking sound like some kind of valve problem. And yes there is fresh oil in the crankcase and it did not help a bit. Any suggestions on where to start??????????????????????????????

Sounds like you have a rocker arm that is starting to seize. Seen a ton of these have the roller tip seize up.

He is probably right. Get new rockers arms would be a start. Not all that bad price wise.

this sounds kinda like my problem, except i have a 91 metro (automatic) , and it did tick @ first, but it also stalled out when i would come to a full stop. Any suggestions or is it the same thing.
