oil changes
I have a second car which is only driven a few miles on the weekend's.
Should I change the oil every 3000 miles or should I change it evey two or three months ? |

you should change every 2 or 3 months, just to be safe.

I agree,
If your not putting any miles on the car, definetly change it every 2-3 months. ofcouse it should not damage the car if changed at regular mileage, weekend isint bad. But I would still change it every couple of months. Out of curiousity are you running synthetic or non-? |

I would change it 3months, 5months max. The reason why is condensation forms in the engine and contaminates the oil making it sludge up. Also the additive package in the oil goes bad after a while also and can contaminate it as well.
(Didn't mean to drag up a dead thread.)
