Thumbs up Lotr

Just bought the extended edition of Lord Of the Rings and all i have to say its awesome. I've watched so far only the begining and had way more extra footage than the theater version (or first DVD for that matter). Totally recomended.

BTW you Kiwis have an awesome place down there.

If you like Kiwi backdrops keep an eye out for 'The Last Samurai' starring Tom Cruise....

Filming starts in Taranaki this summer.

Yeah I want to see the extended dvd. I own the original, but I can't afford the new one.

One version is $80NZ, the other $200NZ. Thats way too much.

Oh well I can always rent it. As I need to see it, as it suppoused to have alot more of the books content in it. The movie was missing a bit of important stuff, and hopefully the extended version fixes this.

I am going to buy the regular version, and switch it with Neutrino's super spiffy long version, he'll never know the difference, hehehehe.

Oh, wait. . . . .

I'm not buying any of the DVD until all three are out in a boxed set like they did with the re-release of Star Wars a few years ago.
