Pics of F150 Lightning

These aren't the pics of my current project, just the ones from the last time I made a post with my models in it. You guys said you wanted to see more of it. I just opened the original images off the kodak cd and cropped out the truck itself to get better detail. Sorry I didn't do this before.

*edit* sorry guys looks like you'll have to copy and paste the addresses into your browser.

Sorry, but I have to use links because my host doesn't allow hotlinking.

Engine detail is pretty good. Blower sits on top, intake has good detail, and airbox has the SVT "5.4 s/c" certified sticker on it.

As you can see, I sprayed this model in flat black. This of course, was before coming to the modeling forums.

I gave the hood a fairly decent shine by rubbing it with some 3m finish restorer. Had a lot of scratches though.

I recently CSC'ed this model and repainted it in GLOSS BLACK, and gave it to my uncle because he has the same exact 1:1 truck.

--------------------------------------------------------

Here's some of the other cars that I had in my old post.

For the Pman, here's the camaro z/28 you liked.

Painted in Boyd's True Blue Pearl, which comes out to be a dark candy purple. The paint came out GREAT with no runs, minimal orangepeel, and no need to polish. It's an AMT kit so it lacks a lot of details, including one of the taillights, and clear lenses for the head/tail-lights. Duno why, but I painted the center caps on the mag wheels purple.

Kit has the option of a stock and street mode. I chose the one with twin carbs, and stacks coming out of the hood, and side pipe exhausts.

My ITR done to box specifications. Which I just CSC'ed and plan on adding body modifications to with tamiya epoxy putty, and then repainting in metallic green.

Closeup of my Revell Viper GTS, Tamiya Porsche Carrera, and Revell Ferrari 360 spider. I repainted the ferrari in silver because the previous red was dull, and the primer under it was gray. Sadly I have to say the decals in the ferrari kit are the worst ones ever. Revell must have forgot to put adhesive on them, because I lost 2 of the centercap decals for the wheels, the main decal on the hood(bonnett for you guys in europe), and the 360 spider decal that goes on the sideskirt. The Tamiya Porsche was my first Tamiya model and I was indeed impressed. The painting of the body came out perfect each time I did it, and I attribute that to the excellent molding of the body. The one bad thing that happened was the passenger side window went down the drain while I was cleaning it, so I was forced to improvise and use the extra ferrari windows. I cut it to look like the passenger window is down. The difference isn't noticable.

Looks good. I made one like it for a friend of mine for his birthday. It matches the real one he drives.
