96 Turbo Maxima VS 2001 F150 lightning

My friend has a 2001 lightning and he wants to race my 96 turbo charged maxima. I want to know who has the advantage and if he can beat me wat can i do to win.

What kind of turbo do you have on your max?


What boost is it at?

We need some info before we can make a call......

Lightnings run like low 13's. Stock Max with 5 speed is high 14's low 15's, I imagine a turbo'ed one would eat a lighting fairly easy.

On the highway it sure would. But from a stop, the lightning will most likely hand you your ass. You can't deal with the massive torque those things produce. So I would recommend racing from a roll or on the highway, you have much better chances that way.

Most likely you are right, as long as the driver knows the truck, it has so much power and not enough weight on the back wheels, it burns out way to easy.
