Exclamation B16A Oil Question

How many quarts of oil does a B16A take? What would be the best oil for this motor?

The JDM first gen B16A takes a little over 4 quarts. i believe it's 4.2 quarts. I would shy away from putting in fully synthetic oil...because you dont know what kinda of oil was used in it in Japan...or how many miles are actually on the motor. synthetic oil is very thin and can easy burn...i found that out. I just put in fairly cheap Castrol GTX 5W-30 motor oil, and change the oil religiously at 3K miles.
