COMPLETED: The Prisoner S7 Group Build

My Prisoner has managed to escape ahead of the group build 07/07/07 deadline

Thanks to MPWR for coming up with the theme for this group event - a perfect choice. I had an absolute blast putting this kit together and I think I can say that this will remain my favorite build for a long time.

My chosen subject for the project was the Super 7 featured in the 1960s TV series "The Prisoner".

The full story of the series and what I did to the basic kit can be found here in the WIP. Here are some not so good shots of the finished kit.

Thanks for looking

I agree completely. It was a joy following along in the wip and seeing some of your tricks and magic. I especially am impressed with the engine bay and detailing. This whole model is perfection in my books.

Re: COMPLETED: The Prisoner S7 Group Build

Hi Steve,

now this is a different point of view to the Lotus theme because of the narrow wheels and similar-to-stock appearance .

Well done, nice details

Re: COMPLETED: The Prisoner S7 Group Build

Lovely modeling Stevenski. To me this proves that Colin Chapman's original design looks just perfect as he intended it. Love the little details like the pin striping around the seat and belt holding the spare wheel. Did you do anything special to the headlights? They look great.

Splendid work, Number 6!

As ever your build thread was a pleasure to watch, and what a terrific little model you've ended with. Superb, all around.

It's certainly an honor to have inspired you to start this one!

Re: COMPLETED: The Prisoner S7 Group Build

Hi Steve,

I agree with the other guys. Top notch build - sticking to Colin's idea and adding all the prisoner's movie car details.

Congrats and thumbs up!

Cheers
