95 stock max vs. 2001 accord V6 wit some mods

I have a 95 maxima GXE and my friend has a 01 accord and we raced before when we were both stock and i got him about a car length. He says he got something( not a lot) and he will be able to smoke me now. I kind of chuckled but i was wondering, if he did get something like an intake, or headers, would he still be able to be me. I have an intake now myself. Thanks in advance.

There quick but not quick enough homeboy, tonight I freeway raced one on the 110 freeway here in L.A and I pulled on him, I know he had intake at least because I heard it.. When I got off the freeway some dork in a 2002 Mustang v6 tried to race me and I raped him. I probably pulled like 4 cars ahead. There slow as F@ck. But to answer your question, it should be an interesting race, In my case I have only a Y-pipe, CAI, and Exaust!!!!!

It should be close, but I think you should still be able to take him. The 3.0 liter Honda engine produces 195lb.-ft of torque, and your Max puts out 205, both stock. So unless he did somethine big, you should still be able to win. BTW, are you driving a stick?

Hmm....No match really.....

From the line I can get them as we start getting into 2nd third gear it gets kinda close but I can take him, Given this is my buddies 98' 4dr V6 Auto w/ Dual Greddy Full Catbacks and and a "Performance Chip" which lifts his limiter a bit. I also got him on the free way. I own a auto 95' max SE, with higher mileage, and "half an intake" (Intake Filter and Adapter).

Gee, u'll take him but not eazily cuz da max shiftz slow wit automajik, but u should start n 2nd & torq brake btween 1800-2500 slam da pedal 2 da metal shift back 2 D when u hit 30 & hold it down til u c him n da rearview radar.

forgot 2 azk, iz he rolln a coup or sedan? Diz alzo will make a difference, cuz da coup iz lighta dan der sedan, which meanz itz alzo lighta dan da max. 2 Bad dey neva made da Max n a coup, dat woodof been bad newz 4 dem foolz out der.

Yeah, bk, i also have wondered for a while why they didn't make a 2 dr Max, i think Nissan would have hit a gold mine...I guess that would put it in competition with a Z, but hell, it would probably look a lot better.(just my opinion, i don't like the looks of the Z)
