A couple minivans...

This is a little off topic, and some of you will call bullshit on this one I bet, but it's true, and I can prove it!

My neighbour back in comox, Barry Schneider, was the drug bastard/liason officer to schools. He used to drive a fruity little white new beetle, with cherries, RCMP badging, and DARE decals all over.

He died last year from a heroin overdose...

Back to topic, I hated that little beetle... A riced out honda ghost car?

The best I have ever seen was a Lamborghini Countach cop car, try out running that, this was back in the early 90s by the way. I have also seen and Enforcer Camero, try outrunning that as well. Also some plain Dodge trucks with shells on the back.

I saw one of those parked in a lot where a car show was being held at. Looked pretty fierce.

Damn a Lamborghini cop car? Where the hell is that? I never knew police were that rich, man shit I wanna be a cop and drive a Lamborghini.

I used to see the 80's Corvettes a lot as cop cars. I guess that kind of died out when they changed the looks of the Vette. The All American car being used as a cop car, must of been fun for those cops.

It was the late 60s/early 70s... the place, west Germany...

They had VW Beetles with Porsche flat 6s installed... Tourists were amazed to see little bugs running down people at 150mph.

Believe it or not, my Dad swore that he knew a cop who took an unmarked 70's Plymouth Fury cop car and rebuilt the 440 into a Six-Pack engine for pursuits and bracket racing. According to dear old Dad, the thing ran 9's thanks to some creative lightening and a pair of 9inch cheater slicks.

Also, there actually was a 5.0 Mustang pursuit package in the 80's for notchback coupes. They sold a bunch of them out west, but the things weren't as necessary out here.

I shit you not, I saw a Lamborghini cop in California, it was a highway patrol car. That or some rich guy decided to make his car look like a cop car, and what moron would do that?

As for Colorado, the fastest cop car I ever saw them having was that enforcer Camero, I never say a red Lamborghini, that would be freaking cool though.
