Re: First Post: Chevy S10 LS1 SS

wow, if it weren't for the AMT gator back tires, I would have thought it was a real truck in the first pic!

the LS1 is right at home in there too. and the shine, HOLY CRAP!

fine build there! definitely got some skills. let's see more of your work!

Re: First Post: Chevy S10 LS1 SS

I just took my front Mass plate off. Because now I live in New Mexico

I love the truck! I know a lot of people say "it's not my thing but it looks good," and honestly, trucks aren't my thing but this model could make them! I love it, the motor swap is excellent, and the wheels are perfect - just perfect! Very clean build, too. Just awesome.

How did you paint your driveway to look like wood?

Re: First Post: Chevy S10 LS1 SS

Nice build! I like the mean look! My friend build (finished it a week ago) a 1:1 Chevy 454 SS Pickup '91 (it used to be a 454 with a roots charger). It is black, low and huge power plant under the hood; 383 stroker with twin turbo (holset hx50/70 hybrid) setup. He was testing it last week friday, when his cooler fan melted: the downpipes are 4 inches from the cooler, and it's pretty hot in there This kinda reminds me for it, it has the similar mean sleeper look. Sorry for the ot! Great build.

Re: First Post: Chevy S10 LS1 SS

That looks so good I feel compelled to build a 1:1 after it.
