Completed..Initial D Sileighty, and Red S13 Silvia 56k Nooooooo

Hey folks,
These 2 have been done for a while, and now I've finally gotten around to taking some good pics of them with my new camera. The Sileighty is box stock, with Tamiya Mica Blue paint on it. The red one is my interpretation of a daily driven 240sx with the front end swap, suspension, wheels, and an exhaust....not necessarily a drifter, but a good handling car. Seats are Tamiya r33 units from an old built up of mine, wheels are Fujimi Advan Onis, the exhaust is scratched up from aluminum tubing, and the suspension was of course lowered(what a pain, I lowered it the right way, only to have it mess up on me during final assembly thanks to an ill fitting chassis, so the tires are just superglued to the chassis). Paint is Tamiya Italian Red in many coats, with many coats of clear and lots of polishing(and it ended up getting messed up during final assembly..this is a 2 footer(20 footer in full scale???) and last night I pulled it off the shelf and did some panel lines, and added a photo-reduced license plate that used to be on my full size 240 to finish 'er up. Hope you guys like em, comments and critiques welcome

Its just a setting on my camera where you can point it at the object and choose its color, it then only shows that color...makes for some cool flower pics..lol

That looks sooo neat!! That S13 looks soo superb!! It's...I don't think I have a word to describe it!! But it looks super!! Is your real car just like that? Or with different wheels?

No I used to have a 240sx hatch..

done up in a similar manner, the plate I used on red one was my first personalized plate for the car(1st of 3 total different ones over the 5 years that I owned it)
when the car was totalled and sold, I kept all of the plates, and plan to use them(photoreduced) on different builds.

How did you make the customized license plate for the s13?

I took a picture of it, then brought it in on a word processing program(microsoft works word processor on my machine) and brought the size down, the printed it, there was a little trial and error, but doing it this way keeps the resolution of the image versus resizing the image in an imaging program that reduces its resolution. hope this helps

uhh, they are both S13s. that's the chassis code. sorry, just a pet peave of mine, don't let it bother you.

anyway, they both look outstanding. the blue one needs to be lowered BAD, and I don't car for the treatment on the front bumper, but it's nice and clean, so rock on!
