Escalade fourth attempt !

This just didn't want to get finished, after 18 months (unheard of in my house ) and a fourth re paint its finished. Revel Escalade OOB other than rims and stripe. Original rims went on mr Dodge Charger and the stripe is from a set of Aoshima rims. The paint is Renault Electric Blue from a Halfords can.
Dont know why they dont provide the Escalade decal for the tailgate
After all the paint stripping and repriming the detail isnt proud enough to attempt painting by hand.

Re: Escalade fourth attempt !

rollin' on 20's! looks fantastic, but one question...

WHY DOESN'T ANYONE EVER BLACK EDGE THEIR HEADLIGHTS?!?! that is the only thing that looks out of place. not BAD, just not right. the paint and style of this build is fabulous! wheels look great (aside from the 4 lug thing) and the stripe gives a real custom look too.

8/10 fantastic!

Re: Escalade fourth attempt !

Nice job!
Where are the wheels from?
A cleaner photo background would improve the pix.

replacements for diecasts from what I can remember, bought a job lot of eight on a card.

WHY DOESN'T ANYONE EVER BLACK EDGE THEIR HEADLIGHTS?!?!

Does this car have black seals around the lights?
I only ask as my own car doesn't, the lenses are bonded on and the lamp just sits in a hole on the front.
