Talking First model - Shelby Cobra 427

Here is my first completed model, a 1967 Shelby Cobra 427 from Revell. I've opted for the 1967 blue instead of the 1975 green as it seems more appropriate to go with blue with white stripes for that Shelby effect!!!

It's not perfect but it's my first attempt so I'm happy overall. The decals were a bitch to do, especially the back as I could not get the stripes to sit even so I had to cross them over slightly - they simply didn't fit the body so prepare for difficulty if you try this one!!!

I have just ordered my second one though, a Porsche 911 GT3 which I'm going to do in yellow or white!!!

Comments welcomed, good and bad!!!

Wow, top quality for your first model! That blue is fantastic and you've got a great shine on it! I've got this kit in my to-do pile and hope it's as good as this one is.

Looks great for a first...
Watching all these new people come out with their models, almost makes me want to dig mine out and start modeling...
Too bad I'm tired.

If that is for a newbie then it is impressive! The Cobra is an impressive piece of machinery i must say! One car who's style will NEVER die!

I agree with choosing blue as the color.
