d16z6 swap header install Q...
when i did my d16z6 swap, if i remember correctly, i had to cut the mounting bracket off of the d16z6 stock exhaust manifold as it was not in the same location as my stock dx motor. If i was to buy a header which im planning as my next mod, would i have to cut off the original mounting bracket and weld on a new one?

I ran a 92+ header on a couple different engines and left the bracket disconnected since it didnt line up. I did this for awhile and had no problems. if you're comfortable doing that....go for it, if not, you'll have to cut and weld....good luck
