Everyone says that swapping a D to D is "easy". Looks like a big ole pain in the booty to me! How do you do it without a lift? 2500 is the cheapest I've found locally for a turn key swap and I figure I can do it myself for half that, but I don't want to wind up trying and then having to pay them to fix what I screwed up!
Pulling the axles and wiring the VTEC is what scares me! If I get a D16Z6 and that Zdyne "One wire Conversion" do I have to use my stock Si Intake and Distributor? |

I have a D16Z6 with a D16A6 cable tranny for sale for $500. The engine has about 72,000 miles on it. Let me know if you want it.

Re: ZC or D16Z6 swap in a 91 Civic Si
I'm interested in the motor. I just the blew engine on my 91 civic si. Any issues with the engine I should know about? Where are you located?

Bunny, welcome to the forum. Please note though that this thread you posted to is 10 years old. I suspect the engine and transmission are gone by now. According to the user profile, 90CRXZCSi has not been active since January 2004. I didn't want you holding your breath for an answer/response.
