Old School Toyota

Hey my names Brad and this is my first post here. Some of you may recognize me from a few other model and 1:1 car forums, but like all of us I am always looking for new places to show off my stuff! Heres my latest build a 1970 Celica. I am a big fan of the old japanese cars and wheels so thats kind of where my builds have been going lately.

Kit-Hasagawa '70 Celica 1600GT
Wheels-Fugimi Work Equip 3negative 15inch
Tires-Aoshima Dunlops
Paint-Tamiya rattle can
Its built mostly box stock except for the wheels and lowered suspension. Basically built the way I would like to build a real one! (if I could ever find one in the northeast )

Let me know what you think

Re: Old School Toyota

The only thing missing on the kit is one decal. It got destroyed during the application process, so if anyone has one that they would like to sell or donate I really dont want to spend $30 for another kit if I dont have to!

Pic of the fender and decal thats missing. The marker light is being left off untill I can locate a decal as it sits over the stripe.

Re: Old School Toyota

Nice! Lovin the wheel choice and the oldskool mirrors. The color is nice too. I have a special place in my heart for old Celicas. The 2nd car I ever owned was a '75 GT.. awesome.

Re: Old School Toyota

Very, VERY clean build. Those wheels make it! You've done a stellar job on this one and I love it. I'm really enamored with this car as well, all old school Japanese cars really, so it's cool when one shows up this well done. GREAT model! I love it.

Also, you have a PM about the decals.

Re: Old School Toyota

Thanks to all for the positive comments, and a big thanks to willimo for the decal to finish it! I will be posting the next old school build in the w.i.p. section tonight, a Fugimi Toyota TE27 Corolla rolling on a different set of works.
