supercharger like turbo sound???
im kinda new to the turbo n supercharger stuff and i kno how a turbo sound on a car and it sounds tyte n i love it.. but i was wondering does the supercharger makes the same sound? i hope it does pplzzz reply

no they do not sound the same. a charger sounds more like a bike or a firrari in my opinon. zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

a turbo makes a whistle sound when it is spooling up (when the turbine starts to spin) and a supercharger makes a sound kinda like air rushing in...thats why it's sometimes called a blower.

i agree a turbo and a supercharger sound nothing alike..sorry. You shouldnt be buying as high end part like that for teh sound anyways. you need to buy what best suits your needs and what your capable of driving,maintaining and affording ! If you want a sound clip why dont you just go to a car show ???? Or your nearest drag strip and you can hear them for yourself. For each Blow off valve and each supercharging system has a mild diff. sound so 1 doesnt always sound like the other just cause there the same part, hints why a sound clip really isnt gonna do anything ! just figure out what you want and need and go to a fre car shows and drag runs and you can see for yourself..talk to some of the guys there and see what it is there running and get some opinions..thats all you can do

The blower on my GTP sounds like a VERY loud electric motor. It's got a very distinct ZZZOOOOOOOOO sound. Sounds great in my opinion but just as tranzlogic said, don't buy it because of the sound. Buy what suits your needs. I am a Supercharged fan. It managed to push my heavy ass GTP down the track at 13.30
